About Us
We’ve been married for almost the same amount of time as we’ve been photographing weddings and that’s more than a decade. We both have strengths that compliment each other perfectly and we use that to make up the complete package that is Doxa Visual.
We have a depth to our relationship both working, and romantic, it is born out of a deep desire to flourish together, no matter what life throws at us.
We’re based in Launceston, but we do love to travel and photograph weddings and elopements all over Tasmania.
We’re wildly in love, we’re best friends and we adore capturing human connection. We are the perfect blend of extroverted and introverted and we use that to our advantage, making up the full spectrum of what you need from a visual team on your wedding day and the months leading up to it.
We’re soulmates, we cherish being together and adore serving couples who have that same special connection. We’re invested in you, not just on your wedding day but the whole journey from the moment you first connect with us! We’re more than just a wedding duo, we’re here for it all and we’re here for you.
We’re available to both attend your day, or you can just book Jac, who has been our lead photographer for the past 5 years. You may have heard of us as the Photo + Video dream team in Tasmania, however as of June 2027 we are packing up video and are just running with photography. But fret not, we have LOADS of friends in the videography world who we can help you lock in

When we’re not photographing weddings, you can find us reading, op shopping, gardening and spending time with our teenage kids, family and our close circle of friends. We spend a month every summer with them at a local beach doing most of the above.
Jon spends time in winter, rugged up in his shed crafting bespoke guitars and Jac tends to find new things to restore in our mid-century home or ventures off for a cozy elopement.
We truly love the life we’ve created for ourselves and our kids and its a huge part of why we have the capacity to thrive in an industry that most people don’t survive very long in.
